Algenex was created to connect research and application as straightforwardly and time-efficiently as possible. As founding members, we had the certainty that it was our own undertaking to give application to our discoveries.
Over 10 years of research in the field of biofactories, vaccines and diagnostics have allowed for the development of new products and technologies that will soon reach the market. We know that teaming with or competing against other tremendously active and innovative enterprises on the globalized field of biotechnology is not an easy task, but rather one that demands hard, enthusiastic and talented work. Still, we firmly believe that our efforts are bearing fruit and that we will contribute in some way to bringing scientific developments closer to society. In this sense, our technology makes it possible for pharmaceutical companies to reduce their production costs and opens up new alternatives in the field of vaccines that will make them more effective.
We consider that helping underprivileged societies, through major cost reduction, to gain access to technological products that will improve their health and their economy, is our contribution to society. And it is this driving force which accounts for the increasing enthusiasm with which both us and our collaborators at Algenex work every day.
