Potent new designed early-late promoters have been developed and incorporated by ALGENEX into the conventional AcMNPV vector instead of the conventional late virus promoters. The novel resulting vectors have been denominated Top-Bac® and present significant advantages with respect to the currently used baculovirus expression vectors for insect larva and insect cells under fermentation.
