ALGENEX develops recombinant subunit vaccines based on virus-like particles and surface virus glycoproteins. ALGENEX generates internally as well as in collaboration with several independent research institutions a number of subunit recombinant vaccines against different animal and human pathogens. Our vaccines incorporate the biotechnological tools developed by ALGENEX to increase efficacy and for reducing production costs. Animal vaccines are tested in susceptible animals, while the proof of concept for human vaccines is carried out in experimental animals.
